The best places for lodging on the south route of Damawand are Camp 1 Polour Hut and Camp 3 Bargah Sevom New Hut.

Camp1 Polour Mt Damavand Iran

In our private tours, for better accommodation on the mountain days, instead of using shelter/refuge and tent we use Damavand huts. Generally we try to book private room and give you bunk bed in mountain huts and for the rest of journey in Tehran, the residence is usually in a 3-4 stars hotel or any other hotel you may choose from the Hotels list.

Usually the starting day for a Damavand tour looks like this:

Day 01: Arrival Day
Arrive to Tehran, greeting you at IKA International Airport, short and brief meeting, transfer to Camp 1 Polour for acclimatization, (or sometimes to a hotel in Tehran, depending on the latest news on camp 1 crowd, we shall discuss which place is more comfortable). Final preparation and equipment check, over night at Poluor Hut.

Important Note
We do not recommend using Camp1 Reyneh as a starting point and Camp2 Base for acclimatization or accommodation any more especially in summer season.
