Q- What is the required level of physical fitness for climbing <span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><a href="http://www.damawand.de/" target="_blank">Damavand</a></span></span>?<br />
A- Please Let us know some information about your mountaineering experience and your team individual fitness! What kind of mountains have you climbed so far? What was the highest elevation?<br />
Please give any info which you think might be useful.<br />

Q- In our group, some of us did Kilimanjaro but others have never climbed before. Is possible two organize separate teams for different level of fitness?<br />
A- No problem. We organize a wide range of hiking trekking, mountaineering and climbing tours to Mt Damavand for different climbing levels, from beginner to advanced and experienced mountaineers.<br />
<br />
Q- What is the required level of fitness for climbing Mount Damavand Iran?<br />
A- Very good fitness is required for the summit, ordinary fitness for 4200m or lower parts.<br />

<a href="http://www.damawand.de/How/How.html" target="_blank"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Climbing Damavand Mountain</span></a> gets more difficult in winter and cold seasons, in winter any sport activities such as winter climbing, ski mountaineering and snowboarding on <span style="font-weight: bold;"><a href="http://www.damawand.de/" target="_blank">Mt Damavand</a></span>, the safety of a team is the main priority and ascend to the summit it is possible only if you are in a very good physical condition and if the weather is good enough during your ascend.<br />

If you want to know what kind of physical fitness is required for skiing on Damavand? And what is the chance of success? We must mention high physical fitness is necessary. And to discuss your chance of success and to give you a better idea, let us know some info about your team:<br />
- Have you done any off-piste ski mountaineering before?<br />
- What is the highest summit you have climbed so far?  <br />
- When was your last successful attempt?<br />
- What is your level of fitness at the moment?<br />

A very good physical fitness is required to climb to the summit of <a href="http://www.damawand.de/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Damavand Mountain</span></span></a> 5671 meters and an ordinary physical fitness is necessary to ascend to the Camp 3 4250 meters.<br />
<br />
Any of the following sport activities or a combination of them are useful to get ready for ascend to <span style="font-style: italic;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Mt Damavand peak</span></span>. <br />
<br />
The best places to do these exercises,  if you have any access, are mountains and hills.<br />
- Regular mount climbing, once to twice a week.<br />
- Walking for 2 hours 3 times a week.<br />
- Running (slowly) for 1 to 2 hours twice a week.<br />
- It is a good idea to sleep few nights at high altitude for acclimatization (above 3000m, if possible).<br />
<br />
These physical preparations are also very helpful to get fit for the climb.<br />
- Cycling for 2 hours twice a week<br />
- Swimming for 2 hour twice a week.<br />
