Ararat Mountain Turkey FAQ2

Q- To travel to Iran from Turkish border after climbing Mt Ararat, what we have to do? Rent a car to cross the border from Turkey to Iran or take a fly in Tabriz?

A- Fly to Tehran is the best idea, either directly from Turkey or from Tabriz in Iran.

Q- We, a group 4 people from…, we are planning to climb Mt Ararat (Turkey) and Mt Damavand (Iran).
Can you provide us with the guiding and logistic on Mt Ararat and Mt Damavand? Can you organizing such a expedition? Alternatively, can you refer us to the right people?

A- At the moment you may rely on our best services for MT Damavand because we are the leading mountain tour organizer in Iran. We are looking forward to find a reliable partner in Turkey" for Mt Ararat too.

Mount Ararat Turkey FAQ1

Q- This year in March I climbed the Ararat Mountain 5137 m, in the summit the temperature was -42º, but I don't know if it is harder to climb the Damavand? For us the one and only possible dates are in March (between 10 and 20 March) or the first week in April.

A- In a mountain such as Mt Damavand, the safety of the team is the main priority, ascending is possible
only in a suitable weather and good physical condition of your team. Mount Damawand is more difficult compared to Mt Ararat, and of course much colder especially in May. Visit also Freezing Temprature Warning and Winter Warning. Our main concern is to ascend as safe as possible and increase the chance of success to the summit and also to inform you to be aware of clod condition on Mt. Demavand. But it all depends to you to make the best decision for your team and we will do our best to support you the same way as we supported other teams before.

Q- Do you operate on Mt Ararat as well? If so what would be the price for combined Mt Ararat and Mt Damavand tour?

A- We do not operate on Mt Ararat right now, but we are discussing to find a reliable partner in Turkey to support Mt Ararat too.
